These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Deranged Haunted Attraction website and your purchase or use of tickets, reservations, promotions, and related services.
By using our website or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase admission.
attraction experience
Deranged Haunted Attraction is an intense, live-entertainment experience intended to frighten and startle guests. The attraction may include:
- Darkness and low-visibility environments
- Loud or sudden noises
- Fog and theatrical effects
- Flashing, strobing, or rapidly changing lights
- Confined or enclosed areas
- Uneven walking surfaces
- Sudden movements
- Disturbing imagery
- Close interaction with performers
- Physically and emotionally intense situations
Guests are responsible for determining whether participating is appropriate for them. Review our Safety Disclaimer before purchasing tickets or entering the attraction.
tickets and admission
A valid ticket or authorized admission credential is required for entry.
Tickets:
- Are valid only for the event, date, time, or admission type indicated
- May not be duplicated, altered, or fraudulently reproduced
- Have no cash value
- May be subject to availability and capacity limits
- May be purchased through a third-party ticket provider
- May include taxes, service charges, or processing fees
Possession of a ticket does not guarantee admission if the ticket is invalid, fraudulent, duplicated, previously redeemed, or used in violation of these Terms.
refunds, exchanges, and event changes
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.
We generally do not provide refunds due to:
- A guest choosing not to enter
- A guest leaving before completing the attraction
- Fear or dissatisfaction with the intensity of the experience
- Wait times
- Weather conditions
- Travel problems
- Personal scheduling conflicts
- Removal for violating attraction rules
If Deranged cancels an event, the remedies available to ticket holders will be communicated through the ticketing provider or the contact information associated with the purchase.
Event dates, operating hours, attraction content, performers, routes, and availability may change without notice when reasonably necessary for operations, maintenance, weather, safety, or circumstances beyond our control.
arrival and wait times
Guests should arrive according to the instructions accompanying their ticket. Late arrival may result in delayed entry, reassignment, or loss of admission, depending on capacity and ticket conditions.
Advertised or estimated wait times are not guaranteed. Waits may be affected by attendance, weather, safety procedures, technical conditions, and other operational factors.
guest conduct
Guests must comply with posted rules and staff instructions.
The following are prohibited unless expressly authorized:
- Touching performers, employees, props, scenery, or other guests
- Harassment, threats, fighting, or disruptive behavior
- Running or intentionally blocking pathways
- Smoking or vaping inside prohibited areas
- Weapons or dangerous objects
- Illegal drugs or unlawful substances
- Entry while visibly intoxicated or impaired
- Photography, video recording, or lighting devices inside the attraction
- Unauthorized commercial activity
- Damaging or removing attraction property
- Entering restricted or employee-only areas
Management may refuse admission or remove any person whose conduct creates a safety risk, disrupts operations, violates attraction rules, or interferes with other guests’ enjoyment.
A guest removed for misconduct is not entitled to a refund.
personal property
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Deranged is not responsible for property that is lost, stolen, dropped, damaged, or left unattended, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Secure loose items before entering. Some items may be prohibited inside the attraction.
minors
Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether the attraction is appropriate for a minor.
Age recommendations, supervision requirements, and special-event rules may be posted separately. A ticket purchase does not represent a guarantee that the experience is appropriate for every child or teenager.
Minors must comply with all attraction rules and any supervision requirements established by management.
assumption of risk
Participation in a haunted attraction involves inherent and foreseeable risks, including fear, anxiety, disorientation, slips, trips, falls, collisions, reactions to theatrical effects, and interaction with people or physical environments.
By entering, guests knowingly accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with this type of entertainment experience, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
website content
Website information is provided for general informational and promotional purposes. Although we try to keep it accurate, attraction details, prices, dates, hours, availability, and policies may change.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, current, or free from harmful components.
intellectual property
The website and its content—including logos, attraction names, graphics, photographs, videos, text, designs, and promotional materials—are owned by or licensed to Deranged and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, or commercially exploit our content without written permission.
third-party services
Our website may link to or use third-party ticketing, payment, social-media, mapping, analytics, and other services. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Deranged is not responsible for third-party websites, services, outages, content, or data practices.
disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors.
limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Deranged and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from website use, ticket purchases, or participation in the attraction.
This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Michigan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
changes to these terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Revised Terms take effect when posted with an updated effective date.
