Deranged Haunted Attraction is an intense live-entertainment experience designed to frighten, startle, disorient, and surprise guests.
Read this warning carefully before purchasing a ticket or entering the attraction. If you are unsure whether participation is appropriate for you, do not enter.
attraction conditions
The experience may include:
- Complete or near-complete darkness
- Loud music, alarms, screams, bangs, and sudden noises
- Flashing, strobing, pulsating, or rapidly changing lights
- Fog, haze, theatrical smoke, scents, and atmospheric effects
- Lasers, projections, and other visual effects
- Confined, enclosed, narrow, or disorienting spaces
- Uneven, inclined, soft, or changing walking surfaces
- Steps, ramps, thresholds, low clearances, and obstacles
- Sudden movements and surprise appearances
- Moving props, scenery, walls, floors, or effects
- Disturbing images, simulated violence, and mature themes
- Close interaction with performers
- Contact with hanging or environmental effects
- Crowds, extended standing, and potentially long waits
- Outdoor exposure and changing weather conditions
Effects, routes, scenes, and operating conditions may change without notice.
do no enter if participation may be unsafe
You should not enter if you are intoxicated, impaired, unable to follow staff instructions, or unable to safely navigate the attraction.
The attraction may not be appropriate for guests with certain conditions or sensitivities, including—but not limited to:
- Heart conditions
- Seizure disorders or photosensitive epilepsy
- Asthma or respiratory conditions
- Severe allergies or sensitivity to fog or scents
- Vertigo, dizziness, or balance disorders
- Claustrophobia
- Sensitivity to loud sounds or flashing lights
- Recent surgery or physical injury
- Neck, back, joint, or mobility conditions
- Pregnancy
- Severe anxiety, panic disorders, or other conditions that may be aggravated by an intense environment
This list is not exhaustive. Guests are responsible for evaluating their own ability to participate safely.
If you have questions about a medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional before attending. Deranged employees cannot provide medical advice or determine whether the attraction is safe for a particular individual.
guest responsibilites
For your safety and the safety of others:
- Walk at all times.
- Follow all signs and staff instructions.
- Remain on the designated guest route.
- Do not touch performers, employees, props, scenery, or other guests.
- Do not run, push, shove, climb, or engage in horseplay.
- Do not enter restricted or employee-only areas.
- Keep hands, arms, feet, and personal items within designated pathways.
- Secure loose belongings before entering.
- Wear appropriate footwear.
- Immediately report an injury, medical concern, or unsafe condition to a staff member.
- Do not intentionally damage or remove attraction property.
Guests who cannot or will not follow these rules may be refused admission or removed without a refund.
prohibited items and conduct
The following are prohibited unless specifically authorized:
- Weapons or dangerous objects
- Illegal drugs or unlawful substances
- Smoking or vaping in prohibited areas
- Open flames
- Outside theatrical masks that conceal a guest’s identity
- Flashlights, laser pointers, or unauthorized lighting devices
- Photography, video recording, or audio recording inside the attraction
- Food or open beverages inside restricted attraction areas
- Behavior that threatens, harasses, or endangers employees or guests
Bags and personal items may be subject to applicable entry policies.
intoxication and impairment
Guests who appear intoxicated, impaired, aggressive, or unable to safely participate may be denied entry or removed.
Denial of entry or removal for intoxication, impairment, prohibited conduct, or violation of safety rules does not qualify the guest for a refund.
touching and performer interaction
Performers may approach guests closely and may interact with them as part of the experience. The nature of interaction can vary by scene and event.
Guests must never strike, grab, push, threaten, harass, or intentionally touch performers or employees.
If an interaction creates an immediate safety concern, notify the nearest employee and follow their directions.
emergency situations
In an emergency:
- Remain calm.
- Stop and listen for staff instructions.
- Do not run.
- Follow illuminated exit signs or directions from employees.
- Do not attempt to continue through the attraction unless instructed.
- Call 911 when immediate emergency assistance is necessary and it is safe to do so.
Emergency lighting, alarms, announcements, or staff activity may temporarily interrupt the entertainment experience.
minors
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether the attraction is appropriate for a minor.
The experience may be too intense for some children and teenagers. Age recommendations do not guarantee that the attraction is appropriate for every minor.
Any applicable supervision requirements must be followed.
accessibility and accommodations
Guests who use mobility devices, service animals, or require another accommodation should contact us before visiting whenever possible.
Some routes or effects may present accessibility or safety limitations. Reasonable accommodation requests will be considered individually and in accordance with applicable law.

personal belongings
Deranged is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, dropped, or damaged during the experience, except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Guests should leave unnecessary valuables at home and secure phones, glasses, jewelry, keys, and other loose items before entering.
Entering restricted areas to retrieve a lost item is prohibited. Ask an employee for assistance.
weather and outdoor conditions
Parts of the guest experience may occur outdoors. Rain, wind, cold, heat, mud, moisture, darkness, and other conditions may affect pathways, waits, and operations.
Wear clothing and footwear suitable for the conditions. Operations may be delayed, changed, or suspended when management determines it is reasonably necessary.
assumption of risk
Haunted attractions involve inherent and foreseeable risks, including fear, anxiety, panic, disorientation, slips, trips, falls, collisions, reactions to theatrical effects, and interactions with other people or the physical environment.
By voluntarily entering, guests acknowledge the nature of the experience and accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participation, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this disclaimer waives rights or excludes responsibilities that cannot legally be waived or excluded.
right to refuse or end participation
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or remove a guest when reasonably necessary to protect safety, enforce attraction rules, prevent disruption, or respond to inappropriate conduct.
Guests who become unable or unwilling to continue should notify an employee and follow exit instructions. Leaving early does not ordinarily qualify a guest for a refund.
